Band of Human Replicants
\An Office spinoff? Apparently Karen makes a comeback this week in an attempt to snag Stanley from Scranton. As for a spinoff with lots of new characters, not sure how that'd work, considering how slow some of the hour long episodes were to kickoff the new season. Did any of those really work for the whole 42 minutes of live-action? They all seemed to fall apart somewhere in the middle, only to finally become semi-cohesive close to their ends. The 5K had to have been the best overall hour eppy. No?

\Band of Horses was awesome. I told you guys it would be. And it was. Besides the fact that Satellite Ballroom's sound still completely sucks super big time huge pickles. Lead singer was quick to point out its deficiencies which was great to hear. Hopefully they finally step up and make an effort to fix it. Likely? not at all. Coran Capshaw (Band of Horses recently signed to his label, ATO) was standing outside the show on his phone all by his lonesome. Maybe he'll buy the stupid fucking venue from it's current owner, Chuck Adcock. Likely? not at all. What with the Jefferson Theater space opening up soon.

A Few Lists
- Excerpt from a new book called Ten Bad Dates with Deniro. It's an "alternative movie list" book. Not your standard top tens: "Five of the Baddest Hair Days on FIlm," Five Films to Avoid on Medication." Funny, insightful write-ups from directors and writers. I'll probably snag it tomorrow.
